Push more. Go faster.

Keegan Callahan big ollie on a bank that's basically made out of gravel.
Skateboarding needs more of this.

So fashion forward that I look several years behind

Nile Osborn pays the price.
This looks hard yet awful. This just looks awful.

Cam Slam

I was messing around with this weird 14mm lens at the park the other day when Cam decided to dive head first into the transition.
Things I shot photos of yesterday, but can't show you (because someone else owns the photos).
1. Swimsuit model with custom motorcycle. Arrive to model wearing mostly paint. Studio light blows over almost smashing custom bike.
2. Went off-roading on oil rig roads in my soccer-mom sedan while chasing grass fires. Decided to turn around when everything around me, including the dirt road, was burned black.

F#ck'in Blankets How Do They Work?

I didn't shoot this pic, but it was shot with my camera when I wasn't paying attention. Neilba gets bottled in my backyard. I think I'm too old to understand the tricks in this video. They must be using some sort of magic. Speaking of magic. That's got to be the most amazing thing I've ever seen. This is pretty good too.

Spring has Sprung

I spotted this guy the other day, so you know it's officially spring in Edmonton. So, I figured I'd set up a new board.

Peeled off the plastic only to notice that the plies were delaminating. Always check the plies before you buy kids.

Figure Four

How crazy is it that I just found this.

Bless this cab

Oh look, it's snowing. That can only mean one thing. I have a day off.

A Donkey Walks Into A Bar

I wish I knew the punch line.

Here's looking at you

I went out for dinner tonight where I proceeded to loudly talk shit about the local constabulary's more recent blunders for about twenty minutes. I then noticed two guys eavesdropping on my rant at a nearby table. I'm almost positive I recognized one of them as a cop. I came to very complete stops and used every signal possible as I drove away from the restaurant.
Oh yeah, the above photo is from somewhere in Guadalajara. No funny story. It's just weird.
Lets go do ollies.

Location, location, location

In my neighbourhood there are several cheque cashing stores, a couple "massage" parlors, but only one pawn shop. There is also an amazing French bakery, but they don't have anything like this bad boy, which I spotted in the window of the pawn shop. An all-terrain motorized skateboard. The clerk said it could do 30 km/hr, but $700! Having always been lousy at haggling, I had to pass.
This makes me want to go street skating.
These guys take power slides and firecrackers to a whole other level. Check the boardslide at the end of this.

Rolling

Just picked up the new SBC at Plush today. There's a nice article about Nathan in it with this picture of him boosting an ollie at Mill Woods. This was probably the one and only time Nathan actually requested I shoot a photo of him. I'm pretty sure he just wanted the photo for his Facebook page.
A skatepark in Williams Lake is being named after Nate.

B-day

Today I officially feel like this truck. The rest of the day was good.
