The new McKernan park was finished this fall just a few days before the snow started to fly. It's a micro park/skate spot that's a little unusual and doesn't look like any other park in Edmonton. It's also pretty fun. However, I have to point out that the coping on the 1/4 pipe is set back way too far. It's actually quite hard to lock into a grind. The beyond mellow set of the coping, has already lead to more than a few people tumbling over the 1/4 and into the bushes beyond. When you skate this place it's crazy to think about how fun it is and how quickly it came together. It's even crazier to think that Brandon did all the fundraising pretty much single-handedly.
I put off watching this for a long time due to it's length. Amazing.
This.
