Graphic Design Gone Bad

While waiting to pay for my Italian sub in Little Italy the other day, I noticed a little candy display beside the cash register.

I think it's a type of Italian licorice. Who thought this was a good idea? I can't believe Tabu has never thought about taking their advertising in another slightly less racist direction.
