I had the privilege of skating Mastrovito's new cement quarter pipe the other day. He said the tiny masterpiece, which even has cement coping, cost him $100 to make.

Skating garages in the winter has to be some sort of Canadian rite of passage. I'm now trying to convince Matt that he should start building this.

Rock Fakie Scissors sent me this. It's shocking how much I don't miss that place at all. I guess I'm still bitter about how insanely slippery it was. I'd rather go skate a ledge with Roline and a wax factory than skate that place again. Mike was always cool though.
