When I was in Winnipeg I went and checked out all my old neighbourhood skate spots.
Above: I spent a lot of time skating stacked curbs behind this 7-Eleven. I can't believe they bothered to put up a no skateboarding sign.
Above: This bank was Charleswood's only legitimate spot. It was really fun back in the day. Basically unskateable now.
Above: Not technically in Charleswood, but I would often take a bus to skate this curb back in the slappie noseslide-to-nosegrind days.
Above: I think I still have the swellbow I got from learning to ollie down these. Man, it used to seem huge back then.
