In my grand tradition of being terrible with names, I found the above photo in a backup folder named "Hayden". Cayden reminded me about the photo during the premiere of his video Naughty Boyz Saturday.
Cayden's part in his own video was probably my favorite. Channeling some Night Prowler vibes and making Edmonton's downtown actually look fun to skate. Super stoked that there are still people out there making cool things. Track Cayden down and snag a copy of his video.
It was also the Edmonton premiere of Machotaildrop. I'm not sure how to describe the movie. It was sort of a combination of The Search for Animal Chin, The Princess Bride, and maybe Evil Dead. Totally weird, in a good way.
Bombchan had to leave early and gave me his raffle tickets. I won some size 30 RDS jeans. I don't think I could get even one of my legs into those things.

I had some money in my pocket until I ran into Dean. In the end he somehow even had me paying for his purchases. Best Merch Girl ever?
The whole event was a fundraiser for the McKernan/Teebs skate spot.
I thought for sure Traumatized Till Snow would be a snowboard video. Turns out people still skate the Spruce Grove park. Now that's crazy!
