Above: I really like this mural. (click to enlarge)

Above: It's a bummer that some idiot spray painted a skateboard under him.
I had already driven past the above mural by a few blocks, when I finally decided I needed to take a photo of it. So, I turned down a side street to start heading back and the first thing I see is a fine young gentleman, jailhouse tats and ball cap cranked super tight atop the tippy-top of his head. (It's really hard to describe this "style" if you haven't been to Winnipeg, but imagine putting your snap back hat on the smallest possible setting and then gingerly placing it just barely on the top of your head. Sort of like if a Conehead was wearing a ball cap.) Anyway, as I pass him standing in the middle of his suburban lawn, he gives me the finger, following me with his hand as I pass by; all the while also trying to enact some sort of drive-by stare-down. I responded with an enthusiastic thumbs-up. I watched, in my rear-view mirror, as his single salute turned into a double and then into some other "What's up?" style posturing, before I turned another corner. That's it. That's the whole story - A guy gave me the finger today.
Platinum.
