I found this on an old school note pad of mine. I always thought this was super funny. It reminds me of a time when skaters and bladers were like the Bloods and the Crips.
Now kids are waxing the skateparks so much rollerbladers are saying, "Hey Roline. Chill out on that wax man." While I think the thawing of skate/blade relations can probably be partially linked to some sort of mutual wax love, I figure it probably has more to do with the invention of razor scooters and snake boards. That shit makes rollerblades look dope. Plus I've yet to see a suburban soccer mom pull up to the park in a mini van and dump off 15 kids with rollerblades. Anything else seems to be a go though - Big Wheels, pogo sticks, scooters, mountain bikes, wagons, heelies, remote control cars, unicycles. How awesome would it be if Consolidated made a sticker where the guy was throwing a big wheel.
